DRUID MARKS - Terms & Conditions

1. Shipping & Handling

Original artworks are packaged and shipped within 3 to 5 business days of full payment, as they are already fully cured and varnished.

2. Returns & Refunds (EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal)

Under EU law, you have the right to return an original physical artwork within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.
To initiate a return, you must contact me within this 14-day window after receiving the artwork.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. The artwork must be returned in its original packaging, fully insured, and in the exact condition it was sent.
Once I receive and inspect the undamaged artwork, a full refund of the purchase price ( including initial shipping rate ) will be issued.

1. The Commission Process & Revisions

Once your commission request is accepted via the intake form and after the initial deposit, I will provide a rough composition sketch based on your provided reference photos.
You are entitled to one (1) major revision during the sketch phase. During the sketch phase, you are entitled to one (1) major compositional revision and up to two (2) minor adjustments. Any further structural changes requested after this limit will incur a €50 revision fee per sketch.
Once the sketch is approved by you in writing (via email), the painting enters the production phase. No further structural or compositional changes can be made once the oil painting process has begun.

2. Payments & The Non-Refundable Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to officially secure your commission slot and begin the sketching process.
The remaining 50% balance, plus calculated shipping costs, is due upon completion of the painting, prior to shipment.
Prices are billed in EUR [or USD}.

3. Drying Times & Shipping Expectations

Traditional oil painting requires significant drying time. Once the painting is finished, it requires approximately 3 to 5 weeks to become dry enough to touch and safe to package.
The painting will be shipped unvarnished so the oil layers can continue to cure naturally over the next 6 to 12 months. An exact shipping timeline will be communicated to you upon final payment.

4. Return & Refund Policy (EU Directive Compliance)

Custom Goods Exemption: Because this is a custom-made, personalized physical item, it is exempt from the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal. All sales on custom commissions are final. I do not accept returns or issue refunds for "change of mind."
Damaged in Transit: If the painting arrives damaged, you must contact me within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of both the damaged artwork and the external packaging. I will work with you to repair the piece, or issue a partial or full refund depending on the severity of the courier damage.

5. Copyright & Ownership

You own the physical original painting. However, as the artist, I (Marko Majetić) retain all copyright and reproduction rights.
I reserve the right to share images of the work-in-progress and the final painting on my social media, portfolio, and website unless a strict NDA or privacy request is agreed upon in writing beforehand.
